Random Question #8

What kind of car do you drive, and what do you suppose it says about you?

This is interesting. If I could have it my way, I would drive a Volkswagen Beetle with the child's car seat in the back and no problem. But I drive a dark blue Honda Accord inherited from my husband. It says about me that I am not ready to commit to a bigger family car because I do not see them as very eco-friendly (and also I do not have a bigger family, unfortunately). I do have to struggle to fit bicycle and scooter in the trunk and then there is no space left for groceries, but I am happy.

I drive a Honda CRV and love it! It's economical, convenient, roomy and quite classy!

I'm a big fan of eco-friendly and would like to buy Honda's hybrid next.

I drive whatever is home when I need to leave! Either a Grandpa Grey Taurus, a white, high top, Ford conversion van or Abby's little Freestar (I just had to go out to the garage to see what the name of it was!)

It has been several years since I have my OWN car. I do miss it a little.

I would say what it says about me is I don't really care what I drive, and Honey is a Ford employee!

I dive a Hyundai Santa Fe. It says "I was broke when I bought it but I needed something I could throw the dogs in the back of & give them a little room & cover."

I would have preferred a Toyota with a 3rd row seat but this little bugger got 8 miles per gallon better gas mileage & was about $6K cheaper.

Of course my choice would be a '67 Mustang Shelby. Eleanor preferably ;)

I drive a Toyota camry and right now it says that I need to pay more attention when I pull into the garage. The dings on the side speak loud and clear. But it is a nice, comfy, reliable car. I guess I am too. :)
Get this...my word verification for this comment post is "denteit" - sounds like dent it. That's me.

Well, I drive a rickety 1999 Ford minivan. My spirit would love to drive a little red corvette. Now I hear that Prince song in my head :)

I drive a Jeep Liberty. It's an '02 but doesn't look it, drives great. It's cute and snappy, and I feel cute and snappy when I'm behind the wheel, but I like that it's modest, too. It's not too much of anything.

I drive a 2007 Chevy Impala. I bought it because it was good on gas, my brother had one and loved it, and well, I just like how they looked. What does it say about me? That I'm a parent (it has four doors - easier to get in and out of), that I am watching my pennies (it gets great gas mileage!), and I like to buy American-made (it's a Chevy!).

I was told once that my car (a 77 Chevy Camaro) suited me. I was a young journalist at the time. Nowdays I drive a SUV.

I drive a Honda Civic, because it's good on gas. What is says is that we'd rather spend our money on other things than what we drive or else I'd have a truck.

Well, we actually just bought a new car, but the car that I have driven for years I will be very sad to see go, because I feel like it fit me.

It's old, a 92 Toyota Corolla with horrendously peeling paint that no one can decide if it's green or blue. But the inside is clean, and if not entirely all together and pretty, well taken care of. It drives with audible effort but takes the twists and turns of the road very well.

And what it says about me is hidden in there :)

Great question!

ha ha! that's a funny question, because
i was just telling my husband that i need
a new car. i'm not cool enough for mine.

but, i still love it. . . a black range rover.

A minivan. *sigh*

It says, "I am driving my husband's favorite car." He even picked one that has a ton of gadgets on it.

It doesn't have great gas mileage, but it fits the grandparents when they come to visit. If I were to pick my own car, it would be something sexier and more eco-friendly.

Honda Accord, our second Honda. Practical, roomy, middle class, reliable.

If I didn't have to be practical and economical, I'd be driving a Jeep Wrangler or and FJ Cruiser or a convertible of almost any make.

Actually I love my Honda and the fact that it gets me places in comfort and without worry.

What about you?

Oh, I hope my car doesn't say who I am. It's an old-BUT paid for-'95 van. Old paint, old interior, but we fix stuff as it breaks. Uh Oh, that might say alot about me...gulp...but I'm not paid for yet. :P

I drive a four door pickup. Or I did until i wrecked it yesterday. Right now I suppose it says I'm a crappy driver.

You changed your blog! I miss the typewriter thing:)
I drive a Honda cause it was the best deal I could find and the size fit me perfectly:)

An Infinit G35, and it says that I like a bit of luxury and also a bit of power, but I'm not an exhibitionist and like to blend in.

I drive a Jeep Wrangler Sahara--soft top.
I think it says "borderline midlife crisis" LOL!
No, maybe "likes to have fun and doesn't mind the bumpy ride"

Sometimes I drive a minivan--The inescapable mom-mobile. Sometimes I drive a little gas-efficient Corolla to work. It looks neat. It's not fancy. I won't drive around with big dings in it--I'm superficial enough to care about it looking decent, but not superficial enough to buy a fancy car.
That's kind of me, I guess.

Land Rover. I think it says I live in a very hilly area ;) It can handle those switchbacks just fine.

Hi Janna -

I drive a Honda Accord LX. It's practical, gets good gas mileage, and looks sharp. What does it say about me? I'm interested in dependability, safety, and saving money without sacrificing comfort.

Blessings,
Susan :)

I drive a steel grey Toyota Camry. My sour Sweetie picked out for me 1n 2004. I liked the Champagne cream Metallic one best. It had cream interior and he convinced (told) me, was not conducive to Grandbabes.
It says about me I am cold, boring, tight very unhappy.

I would like a red Beemer with white convertible top not a brand new one maybe a 2000. It would tell the world.....I am bright, love adventures, impulsive, fun, happy,at peace with myself.
My grandbabes will love riding with me and my 15 year old grandson can't wait til he can borrow my car. :):):)

I've been driving Saabs since the early 80's. They're simple, strong, dependable, get great gas mileage (especially on long trips-34 mpg), and I love their quality.

The Swedes don't like to stand out so Saabs aren't fancy, but I'll have to admit it, mine is cherry red and is named "Redbird." I talk to her. She is good to me. What does this say about me??? That I am a writer and will talk to anything.

Love to you dear,

Great question--I admire your brain, girl!

I share a Pontiac G6 GT with my husband, because it's a reliable, economical car, but still looks snappy.

What this says about me is that I care more for saving money than having my own car, when I rarely go anywhere but work. But..

if I could choose any car just for me, I'd have an orange sportscar and zip all over the countryside! Wheeeeee!!!!

The Mrs. and I split cars due to work and kiddo duty. So the mini-van says, well look out for flying juice boxes, and our little SUV says that we need something reliable for winter travel in the cold NE.

Bad question. ;-)

I hope my vehicle doesn't say too much about me, because it's a 1994 Jeep, complete with rust and dents.

Just kidding about the bad question...I just have a bad vehicle.

Uggh. I have a mini-van. The most uncool vehicle around. But I love it, I do. It fits my kids and their friends and all our camping gear. I don't worry about spills or dings, because, come on, it's a mini-van. It's sturdy!

A big old SUV- it says I have a dad-gum lot of kids!

I don't drive. I don't have a license. I don't have a car!

I drive a Mazda3 and I think it says I'm cute, smart (because of good gas mileage), and loving the earth... because it's not such a gas guzzler!

:) This was fun!

I drive a 1999 Honda Odyssey minivan and it says I have four kids and am to cheap to buy a new car:)

I gave up my SUV for a more gas friendly vehicle a mini-van. I told myself I would NEVER drive a mini-van. But we found a used Toyota Sienna that had all the bells and whistles that I love. It's all wheel drive and has doors that open and close at a click of a button, making life with small children much easier. It says I'm a proud mom, but I like a little bling too:)

I drive a 4-runner. It's a 2000 and has a few dents but still a great car.

I think it shows that I'm a girl who likes to have fun (suv) but money conscious (dents aren't repaired0.
