Even if I don't know where my path is taking me, how fast or how far, I know two things for sure:
I love connecting with and relating to people. That gives me satisfaction, makes me feel sincere and honest and open, and full of love and acceptance.
And my creative passion tends to weave around the discovery of self. Mine, yours, friends', my characters'. Like a niche, like it's my specialty.
I've decided that as long as I'm mindful of these two ideas--I think they're part of my calling--no matter what I'm doing, my journey will be perfect for me.
What about you? What do you know for sure?

One of the most important truths for me is that God loves me. Regardless of my failings, my mistakes, even my sins, I am loved beyond anything I can imagine.
It's my anchor.
I like this update to your blog, by the way. It looks very nice.
I have to agree with Cassandra - knowing that God loves me and is in control.
Two things I know for sure?? Hmmmmm...
1. God forgives.
2. Sour milk is yucky.
Just to find and know your niche is HUGE!!! Still fine tuning mine. :O)
I know that, like you, I love getting to know others and if those relationships spark me to write something God would push me to write, then I am happy!
I know for sure that God is my bff and will always have my back.
I know for sure that creativity will always feed my soul...whether it is through writing or drawing or anything artsy.
I know that without finding THIS side of writing...the internet side...I would have missed out on so many phenomenal friends and soulmates.
Hey your blog looks fabulous! That blue is really serene and mystical.
What do I know for sure? That I have a lot to be thankful for...every day. And that I forget that fact all the time!
Hi Janna -
I always love your thoughtful posts. :)
Two things I know for sure: 1) I'm a forgiven, child of God. 2) I not only enjoy connecting with others, but also connecting them with each other.
Blessings,
Susan
I think lots of times the things I know for sure change every day, so maybe that means I don't know anything for sure.
I know that I am loved by God. I was born to be a teacher. I would be lost without the magic of books, whether my own makes it or not. I would die in a heartbeat for any one of my children.
I love this. I need to boil my life down in this way, and find out if I'm doing what needs to be done, that brings me joy, or if I'm not. Thanks for the reminder/idea!
For sure-God and His son, Jesus, who gave Himself to save us. Then I know each is given certain gifts, and to become fulfilled, I believe we must use them. Just like you do with your wonderful creative writing.
Blessings**
I know that no matter how similar we seem at times...each of us is unique! :)
Two things I know for sure:
1. God is always there for me.
2. I'm gonna screw up and #1 will take over again.
I'm with you in both of these! I feel centered by my interactions and connections to others, and discovering who I am--as well as who my characters are--drives me in many different ways.
Jesus is for sure to me. Alot of religious rules aren't. But Jesus...when everything else is falling, I feel like he's my sure thing.
I think it's awesome how you want to connect with others! That's a calling, for sure. :-)
I know I'm glad I met you! You've been such an inspiration.
I know that God is faithful, and I know winter ALWAYS comes.
You are a pretty nice person to know too!
Up until the arrival of our lodger last month I thought I was 100% a people person now I know for sure that I'm a people person who needs their own space. Thanks for sharing what you know for sure - a thought provoking and insightful post.
I know I procrastinate. I also know that my laundry will never truly be done, so I may as well save it for tomorrow. ;-)

Nice! I love connecting with people too.
What I know for sure? God will lead me where I'm supposed to go.
The things I am sure of are: First that God is my better-than-best friend. Second, I really like people and know so many socially and professionally yet have very few friends. Finally, that even though I'm past the half-century mark...I'm learning so much all the time and I'm loving it!
