I think we definitely carry the tools to our future within ourselves, and that our metaphorical "toolbox" changes (both additions and deletions) as we get older.
When faced with a life-altering decision, five different people would likely go in five different directions.
We all have the capacity within ourselves to choose various paths in life. . . sometimes other people, places and things might alter our path. . .but ultimately we have it within ourselves to navigate. . .(I love dot dot dots)
