What inspires me? I think I remember this post...

The scent of honeysuckle, cherry blossoms indicating the melting of winter into spring, a starry night, my daughter's giggle, her smile, her sometimes unexpected generosity, watching her grow, a good hair day, a friend of ours who's experience more evil than anyone deserves yet still continues on, a particluarly yummy meal, a good song, beautiful music, a good book, a good movie, a funny TV show, and at times, my own writing.

And, at the risk of sounding...whatever...you. No joke. <3

The ocean, sunset, katydids, patience, and words that dig so deep I can feel them.

I too am inspired by my own frustration...love for family and friends, complex situations, long hot baths, a good book or movie, driving out in the country where pretty scenery abounds.

My grandchildren snuggling under a comforter with me...book in hand

The sounds of a gentle rain

The full moon over the sea

A blank sheet in my sketchbook

The laughter of children

Birdson

Great music

A patchwork quilt, which is the history of a woman

My friend surmounting ovarian cancer

Fireflies

The aroma of a blueberry cobbler baking

Dewy spiderwebs spangling my garden

Seedlings pushing through the soil

Dragonflies dancing above the pond

Fat pumpkins

....and so much more.

Love,
