National Punctuation Day

You know, I don't normally post on Thursdays, but this is worth sharing...

It's National Punctuation Day!

It's fun. It's informative. And just a little bit nerdy.

Check the details here.

This makes me almost wish I were in a classroom today. What a hoot!

This is so cool! Not cool, in a president-of-the-senior-class sort of way, but in a let-me-don-my-cape way.

*wishes she were with other writer-types today*

btw, it's hard to work in a semi-colon under pressure.

Haha! I didn't know that day existed! And so close to national "talk like a pirate day too"!

Gotta go learn the "Punctuation Rap" now...

(And, in this post I've used all the punctuation keys in honor of their special day; did ya notice? :D)

Pat - Ooh, I missed the Dear John. I'll go look.

Regina - Always something to be learned, I suppose. ;)

LOL I swear there's a day for everything. There's even a national donut day. Seriously people. Who comes up with this stuff? ;)

Although, I do have to admit, I love grammar, so a national punctuation day is neat. Had I known about this when I was teaching, I could've had so much fun with this. Oh, well.

hahaha! I love the question mark coming out of the oven in the baking contest. Punctuation makes me tremble in fear but I can so relate to strange and questionable items emerging from my oven. :)

Funny!!! I wonder who gets to come up with this stuff? LOL

Janna Leadbetter said...

Strange Fiction - LOL!

Jessica - What a job, huh?

My son came home yesterday complaining about a tough "comma" test in English. I think he's not a fan of punctuation!
