You know, I don't normally post on Thursdays, but this is worth sharing...
It's National Punctuation Day!It's fun. It's informative. And just a little bit nerdy.

How cool! I think we'll talk about this in school today too:)
Nice to shine the spotlight on such an important part of writing ... thanks!
Lovin' it! :O)
This makes me almost wish I were in a classroom today. What a hoot!
This is so cool! Not cool, in a president-of-the-senior-class sort of way, but in a let-me-don-my-cape way.
*wishes she were with other writer-types today*
btw, it's hard to work in a semi-colon under pressure.
Haha! I didn't know that day existed! And so close to national "talk like a pirate day too"!
Heehee! Love this 'Dear John' letter at the founder's website:

Gotta go learn the "Punctuation Rap" now...
(And, in this post I've used all the punctuation keys in honor of their special day; did ya notice? :D)
Learned more about the ELLIPSIS today thanks to this link.
Is it really??? How...cool...is...that!! :)
Ok I will!
Kara - Sounds like a great idea!
Joanne - And so fun, too.
Diane - It's made me giddy. :D
Deb - You could have fun with this, huh?
Melanie - I understand. Would make the day worth celebrating!
Kristen - Who knew?
Pat - Ooh, I missed the Dear John. I'll go look.
Regina - Always something to be learned, I suppose. ;)
Angie, you're funny.
Terri - Great!
LOL I swear there's a day for everything. There's even a national donut day. Seriously people. Who comes up with this stuff? ;)
Although, I do have to admit, I love grammar, so a national punctuation day is neat. Had I known about this when I was teaching, I could've had so much fun with this. Oh, well.

Haha, awesome. Great pic!
Lynnette - Mmm... donuts...
JLC - Me too!
Lazy Writer - I can tell. ;)
Very nice, Wendy. :)
ChristaCarol - I thought that neat, too!
hahaha! I love the question mark coming out of the oven in the baking contest. Punctuation makes me tremble in fear but I can so relate to strange and questionable items emerging from my oven. :)
Funny!!! I wonder who gets to come up with this stuff? LOL
Strange Fiction - LOL!
Jessica - What a job, huh?
My son came home yesterday complaining about a tough "comma" test in English. I think he's not a fan of punctuation!
