Harried

H Have you had moments in life when

A all the things you do, all you are

R responsible for, seems to grow beyond your

R realm of control?

I It's as if what you touch becomes

E entirely overwhelmed. Exaggerated. Too much.

Weekly, but I hope you find peace with your mountain of responsibilities.

All the time. I have days I feel - it's so unfair I'm deaf and I have days I lord it over for that advantage with my other senses.

Life creeps up on you, overwhelms and imprisons moments of willful wanton freedom.

Moments where there isn't enough time in a day, hours, or even days.

Oh yeah, all the time. (Hugs)Indigo

I remember feeling that way the day before the funeral a month ago. I was running around doing millions of things and dealing with some whacked out people and then a dog goes and bites into my leg leaving beautiful teeth marks.

Glad it's a new day.

Oh yes I have felt that way, especially when my girls were younger. Hang in there. : )

I think I'm perpetually harried. I can hear my mom's voice in the back of my mind, "Kelly, slow down!"

Oh honey. I'm running on fumes right now, so I completely know the feeling. I'm just impressed that you can form that into a poem right now! I'm so stretched thin, that creativity is alluding me. LOL.

I've decided I need cloning. One to go to my full time job. Two to take care of my house. Three to help my hubby with project-du-jour. Four to deal with drivers ed/dance/sequining costumes for recital. Five to deal with the spiritual meetings I've for some reason committed to facilitating.

I'll stick with being the original, and that one gets to relax...

Lord, I never even got to the writing one. Yeah, that too. LOL!

So creative, Janna - I love it!
I've felt that way before - just one of those cycles of life, I think. :-)

You should see the glares I get from PTA moms because they know I'm a SAHM, but I don't volunteer. Yet, I see these same moms rushing around and not spending time with their kids when their kids are at practice or dance class or wherever. Its so good to say "NO" sometimes. (Hugs) Hope your mountain shrinks a bit.

You've described me to a tee, thanks so much for making it obvious and sharing it to the world... LOL
