RQ #18

Sometimes I forget to look off the path I am walking. Then I realize, there is so much to see (feel, do) if I am paying attention.
`
that's me, and a swatch of peace out my back door
`
Once in a while you have to slow, sit, lie down, even. Look at things from a different perspective.
`
Have you tried it recently? What did you experience?

I used to be one of those woman who worked 60-70 hour weeks. I never had enough time for much else in my life.

Strange as it may seem going deaf was the best thing for me. I slowed down and saw the world around me. Now everything is a visual europhia. I love living off the beaten track. (Hugs)Indigo

I just got back from my first visit to NYC. Now that's a very different perspective for a west coast country girl. Great picture. Great post.

I walk with my head down a lot - because my brain is weird and can't take in too much at one time - so I have to make myself look up and around and see things I may miss (I also look down to find interesting things on the ground).

wonderful place you have, too!

I pet my cats and drink in the purring. It calms my heart.

Good advise - without the blinders, I've had some really neat experiences. I'm visiting you from Deb Shucka.

"a little" dead. reminds me of
the painting Christina's World.
