Alright, alright.
Truth be told, I'm a nervous imposter (fake it until you make it, right?) from the Show-Me State. But while I do have a great bedroom, and my voice is quite girly and light, this was my first run-in with a video post. You should know I didn't get it in one take, or even two, and there are parts that make me cringe from the inside out.
You should also know how touched I am by your overwhelming praises. You humble me, and you make me want to never take myself too seriously. I shall not get a big head.
Thank you so much, you amazing people, you.

In other news, the Type-A Mom article I mentioned earlier in the week is up. You can view it here, if you like. [ETA: The linky is broken. If so inclined, visit Type-A Mom and follow links to Mom Stages -> Children -> Mommy's My Name, Don't Wear It Out.]
Make sure you come back tomorrow for an interview with debut author, Kristin Callender. She's got some great thoughts to share with you!
In the meantime, have a super day. And thanks again.

I'd love to hear that evil laugh;-) Great Vlog yesterday.
Yay, interview! I cannot wait! I love debut authors interviews.
You passed 20K!!!
I'm already plotting what I can do for a vlog. I'd like to involved the hubby, but that might take some persuading. :)
I like the new colors, too.
Well, if that wasn't the real you, you're a great poseur!
ALWAYS something good at your blog, Janna. Looking forward to the interview.
Looking forward to more vlogs, you cool cucumber you!
Congrats on the published piece! And I think you're brave to post a vlog - I think I would be too chicken to do it!
Rebecca - I'll see if I can perfect it for the next vlog. ;)
Lori - It'll be exciting!
Melanie - It would be so awesome to hear the differences between your voice and his! And thanks, can you tell I get restless with colors after awhile? I wanted it to be a subtle change, and I think I'm happy with it.
Angie - That's good, good news. :)
T. Anne - LOL!
Melissa - You never know, maybe you'd surprise yourself. You just have to remember that during the taping, it's just you and no one has to see it if you don't want 'em to.
You looked like a pro! I'd never attemot it!
Congrats on your Mom piece, I'm heading over to Type-A Mom to check it out now!
Can't wait for the interview tomorrow.
You really did look like a cool cucumber in your vlog.

LOL. Cute. That is a widely used word at my house. You're right, my son is more apt to call "Mama!" than "Daddy!". Often I've caught my wife not answering him because if she doesn't answer he switches over to "Daddy!". Thanks for the smile.
Looking forward to the interview tomorrow. Loved yesterday's vlog. Maybe I'll do one... er... maybe not. We'll see. ;)

Terri - You have so thrown a new word at me! What is "attemot"? :)
Joanne - Thanks! It's a neat site.
FringeGirl - *lounges, like a cucumber would*
Cel - Interesting to get a dad's take on it. Thanks!!
Lynnette - You can do it! I'll be your cheerleader. ;)
I totally didn't hear it. You sound exactly like a Show-Me-State girl... but then, so am I...
Kelly - Funny how that works. ;)
It was a great video! Very cute! I am not sure if I have the guts to pull it off. You will just have to imagine my voice. (Oh.. and make it sound good too, like Jessica Rabbit or something.)
:D
Enjoyed seeing and hearing you! Very brave and you were au natural! You inspire me and others. Keep it up.
Turk - Done!
Joy - Thank you! I shall do my best to keep it up. :)
An interview sounds fun! You did a great job with the vlog and I don't think you were an imposter at all. :-) Just too cute with that accent. LOL
